Breeding For Balance
Each subsequent generation of kids within a herd represents a future full of genetic potential, and hopefully, the best that the herd has to offer. We love each of our kids from the moment they’re born, and look forward to sharing some of our best with you! You can find our most up-to-date breeding plans and can join the waitlist for kid reservations below. Any kids from the current year who are not reserved, but that we are offering for sale, can also be found below

Kid Reservations
A’Lil Rusty Farm reserves the right to retain any animal for any reason
Kid Reservations
Use the form below to let us know which kids you would like to place under reservation. These reservations are taken based on the DOE (not the individual breeding) and will roll over each year we are not able to fill the reservation.
A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required to hold your reservation. Only one deposit is required, even if you’d like to place reservations on multiple kids. This deposit will be applied to the kid’s price at the time of purchase.
Once we have received your deposit, your name will be added to the reservation list for your selected kids.
Once the kid has been born, we will reach out to confirm that you are interested in the specific kid. At which point you can decline the kid and either 1) roll over to next year or 2) change the reservation to another doe or 3) put your deposit towards a different available kid.
If you decide to purchase your reserved kid, a 50% deposit is required to hold the kid until pickup.
Unless otherwise arranged, all kids must be picked up when they are weaned at 8 weeks of age.
In some cases, bottle babies may be available before weaning, in which case the buyer assumes the responsibility of bottle feeding them until at least 8 weeks of age.
NO ANIMALS WILL BE HELD WITHOUT A 50% DEPOSIT
PaymenT
Payment is due in full prior to the animal leaving the property.
Deposits can be paid via PayPal. Must use “friends and family” option or pay an additional 4% transaction fee
All deposits will be applied toward the total purchase cost of the animal, with the final balance paid at or prior to pickup
Cash is accepted if the animal is picked up in person
Animal Pickup
The departure date of all animals shall be set at a mutually agreed-upon time as delineated in the purchase contract.
Any reserved kids not picked up on an agreed-upon date within one week of their weaning shall incur a boarding fee of $5/day
Any animal (kid or adult) not picked up at the agreed-upon date shall incur a boarding fee of $5/day for the first 7 days and $10/day thereafter.
If an animal is not picked up within 14 days of the originally agreed-upon date, the sale is terminated, and all deposits are considered forfeit. The animal may then be retained or relisted for sale.
Animal Health
We guarantee that our animals are healthy at the time of sale. Once the animal leaves our farm, we can no longer be held responsible for their health status. If, for whatever reason, the animal for sale falls ill before pickup, arrangements will be made to ensure their health is recovered before transport. Any health or genetic testing or veterinary inspection of an animal may be arranged at the expense of the purchaser.
Transport
No animals will leave the property, either with the new owner or transporter, until payment is made in full. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange and pay for all transportation and associated costs, including but not limited to:
ground/air shipping
cost of any required CVIs or other veterinary inspections/testing
cost of shipping equipment eg: crate
We would love to meet you in person! So planning a way to pick up from the farm or meet us is always preferred, but if that is not possible, other options include:
Air shipping - contact us for up-to-date information as locations change their restrictions frequently
Ground transportation - there are several shippers nationwide, and we can make suggestions if you do not have an existing relationship with a transporter
ADGA Registration
All animals sold as registered will leave the property with a signed transfer. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to complete the transfer filing and pay fee to the ADGA.
