To maintain a manageable herd size each year with the addition of retained kids we have the tough undertaking of deciding who to let go. Occasionally, we will have senior bucks, does, and or a pregnant doe that comes available. We always discuss any goats available and determine the goat or goats that best fit your goals. Goats are naturally herd animals and will not be sold individually to a home without other Nigerian Dwarf Goats. This is a need and is required for living happily and healthy. We will not sell one goat by itself without at least one other goat at the new home.

"Bottle fed" are kids that are sold while on a still on a bottle, rather than their dam, less than 8 weeks of age. We strongly suggest that all babies remain on the bottle a minimum of 8 weeks rather than the commonly known 6 weeks. The buyer must understand that ALL responsibilities of properly caring for a newly acquired goat(s) is solely on the buyer. If something happens to the goat(s) once it leaves our farm, in either the buyer’s care or in a transporter's care, A 'Lil Rusty Farm and/or it's proprietors will not be held responsible in any way. Bottle kids who leave prior to weaning age are accustomed to taking a bottle prior to send off.

-
Kids are available for pick up at 8 weeks of age.

-
Wethers, males kids not intended for breeding, are sold for $150 and are sold either bottle fed or at 8 weeks of age.
