ORGANIC HORTICULTURE

The garden boxes house our perennials, including herbs, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, grapes, assortment of berries and mint plants. Our variety of fruit trees include variety of apples and cherries, pear, plum, apricot, and peach which cohabitate with berry bushes of all kinds. Lastly the in-ground gardens grow a variety of squash, potatoes, guards, and melons. Sprinkled throughout are tomatoes, peppers, onion, radishes, horseradish, super greens and root vegetables. In addition to produce we raise flowers,
trees, and greenery for the birds, bees, and lady bugs. Every couple of years we release thousands of lady bugs that help control bugs and disease.

Our marigolds are a keystone species on the farm. Planted annually they provide many services beyond their attractive fragrance and natural bug repellant. We use their petals in our handmade soaps and harvest the seeds for future generations. The softness of the petals and brilliant coloring is admired by everyone. These Marigolds grew over 4 feet in height, yielding huge blossoms measuring 5 inches.

MARIGOLDS 2024 SEASON
All vegetation is fed and thrive from the very animals which they sustain. Crops are enjoyed by all who reside on the farm.
